Before coming to RSW, I was getting complacent. Looking back now, I was actually in a downward spiral about to backslide. I felt empty.  I loved my church, the presence of God was there and I thought it was wonderful, but I needed more.

Since coming to RSW, I have been revived and energized.  God has done a great work on the inside of me. I don’t know what all is taking place but some of the things that I have noticed:

When I am out and about, I am winning more souls on a daily basis.

I have more boldness (and praying for even more), where I used to be hesitant to walk up to certain people, I walk up to them boldly and proclaim the Gospel.

I do not whisper the Gospel Soul Winning script but I project my voice loudly.

I’ve noticed that God has given me a servant’s heart, I enjoy serving  this ministry and am eager to do so (this is a biggie for me) .

I have stopped complaining.

I have more patience.

I find myself praying in tongues more throughout the day.

Deeper level of praise and worship.

My voice singing voice is improving (before even taking a single vocal lab class).

I am excited about what is about to happen in the school year and I look forward to not being able to recognize myself by May….Rose R.

Now at this time I was waiting and pressing in for a supernatural break through on my finances. I had gave   my 30 day notice to my landlord and a two week notice to my job. I had to move closer to the church because I lived 30 minutes away. Well I was blessed with a job and this job had what I had been praying for which was  more  pay and fulltime hours. I mean I called one day to inquire about the  job  and  was  told there was a position open and hired on the spot.  Now I have a few days before I have to move. My stuff is packed but I  had  no money to move and did not know where I was moving to. Well GOD spoke to me he said’’ alabaster ‘’.

So I thought I was going to have to sell my brand new flat screen television that was my alabaster. Then it was explained to me that I had to give it. That’s just what I did. Then after that it was like everything that I did not want to do GOD was having me do that week. So  I  kept pressing in and started giving ( which my giving started after the LORD had touched me) My eyes opened up to a whole different world. I kept reading Deuteronomy 28 everyday. Staying in prayer and knowing that GOD was going to provide. My mother got very worried and started asking me where are you going to go, Janezzia  ( my daughter ) has to start school and she kept on.

As I began to look around at the many people laughing and crying, I had a real talk with God. I said “Jesus, if all of this isn’t a bunch of nonsense, and you are really here… the Pastor will call on me right now!” Within seconds Pastor Rodney looks at me, points, and says “You! Come Here! I  remember him praying deliverance and freedom over my life. After I was able to stop crying, it was as if I felt this amazing peace completely consume me from the inside out. And at the same time I felt such a joy because I , knew that God had heard me.  To make a long story short, I headed back to Texas and within two weeks it was as if every chain that had kept me bound had broken lose and I no longer had any reason whatsoever to continue in the place I was.  That is when I began to search for God to consume me with his love, and began to cling to him with my everything.

I have always known about the River Bible School because my family and I once stayed there in our mobile home and did some ministering and singing within the church. But any time that the school would come to subject I would always say, “Yeah, I don’t feel called to go there”, but as time continued  I would feel more and more hungry for something tangible, real, and different. In so many ways I knew that I had been set apart, and therefore I was never satisfied with the mediocrity that I felt surrounded by. At the beginning of this summer I said “God if it is your will for me to go to Tampa then I pray you would have someone confirm this to me” I planned not to say one word about it to anyone and just put the idea in the back of my mind.

Well for me I was not here for the first week I was still in Texas not knowing if I was coming here with my sister. With my situation at home I decided it was best I come. My brother blessed me and my sister with his car because my truck would have probably not made it. It took us a while to find a place to live but God blessed us with a great place that is not far and is only ten minutes away. The week I was able to be here I was able to here you preach on giving and it really helped me in that area of my life. I realize that giving needs to be a daily thing whether it be items I’m attached or just love to other people.

I never seen anything like that on Thursday where people started giving anything and everything that they had to break walls in their life and it really helped me see that money is only a temporary thing in life and it comes and goes and so many people depend on it but if they put their trust in the Lord and give like he tells us he will provide for all our needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus. My sister has told me great things about this school and from being here a week I already love it and can’t wait to see what God is going to do in my life. The atmosphere here is great every time i walk in the door, from the people that greet you to the people that say hello to you that I’ve never met. I am very happy that I have mentors with a Christian world view and a Christian perspective on life……Joey R.

This week I was given the privilege of working the phones for the great awakening.

It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.  The phones calls would come in non-stop.  I have worked in call centers before but I’ve never had them calling in like this. The people were so hungry. The Lord healed two different people while I was on the phones.  One had a severe back injury and she could barely walk.  By the time the Lord was finished healing her she said “ I can march like one of those Chinese soldiers with my knees up to my chest” !!!  Then  another person that I prayed for had a severe gastritis condition. As we prayed the Lord touched her and immediately she was healed. 

Another gentleman was set free from nicotine addiction. As I prayed the Lord was touching him and he could feel the Lord taking away the addiction. He kept saying, Oh every time the Lord touched him. There was Pastors that would call in that wanted the soul winning script. At least 3 Pastors wanted prayer for Boldness.  Another Pastors Wife was crying as we prayed for her sons.  The fire fell on some that wanted it and they would receive the joy.  I have never seen such hunger.  Even though I was unable to view the Great Awakening on TV I was able to see first hand how America is awakening and how God is using Pastor Rodney to stir the hearts of the people setting a fire in them. -Gary J

This is a time of separation of true Christianity- so the sons of God can represent their Father in the fullness of His love. It is time to learn to live in revival and not to burn out. It is time when the fire of God is boiling the pot to purify the gold - our hearts and with every boiling outburst dirt comes on surface – the hidden things of our heart show up! And we have to allow our Master, loving Father to blow all dirt away! It is time of last purification before the biggest battle for souls! The battle is already taking place, and we have to be very focused on God and His calling for us to succeed.

It is lastly key to understand, how important it is to be totally sold out for Lord and live in secret place of the Most High continuously.

We are entering into the times of Psalm 24; the time where the bride, the true church, is being prepared for meeting with bridegroom, Jesus Christ! And I see only one way to qualify us as a true bride – it is living the Psalm 23 - THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack (AMP). -Martins D.

Revival is happening now among God’s people. You can either choose to recognize it or ignore it, but God will not be ignored. Never. It is coming to the time when the true worshippers will worship in spirit and in truth. God is looking for the ones who’s hearts are with Him. Not the ones who honor Him with their lips but their heart is so far from God. Revival starts in the heart, America needs to check its heart.  We need a great awakening in America and it is now happening.

God is radically shaking the foundations of this earth by mobilizing His people to effectively preach the Gospel around the world. We are so blessed to be in this day and age with Technology at our finger tips. The many different ways we can present the gospel is very versatile but the message stays the same. The message is the Love of Jesus, We as Christians must tell the world that HE lives and that HE loves them! And that Jesus is coming back for a pure bride.

Which is His church and they must have clean hands and a pure heart. There is so many testimonies that people effected by the Great Awakening Show on CTN that is continually expanding. I don’t think you can understand! This thing is going to grow! The Kingdom of God is so very near! We must go out and preach the gospel.  –Xan-Jevan H.

In the last couple of days, revival has changed my mentality. It also has showed me how God wants to reach His people. I have seen that it is not only about talking, but it’s about exercising the faith. I think revival has changed the way I see things because this is the only way that people are only going to see the true power of God working in their lives. It is impossible to have revival without changes. Revival impacts people’s lives in such a great way, that people won’t be the same way after they are presented into the power of the Holy Spirit. Now, I am about to see people in a whole new different level. I am able to see them how God sees them.

I am able to want things that God wants for His people. It has taught me that it is not about me, but it’s about what Jesus wants. It’s about the need that people have on this Earth. It is about fulfilling the call that God has on my life. I think that it doesn’t matter what kind of gift you have, or what is your specific title in ministry; ultimately, the call of a true born-again Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit is to go and preach the Gospel and to get people to know the real God through the power and the signs of the Holy Spirit. People are in a great need all over the world and the way I see it is, that God has me on this Earth with the only purpose of letting people know that there is hope, there is a God that loves them, there is a whole new life that they can live in.

There is freedom and peace in Jesus Christ. I have become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and the things that the Holy Spirit has been talking to me and I know that if I listen and obey, God could do great things with my life, like with anyone else that decides to believe in Jesus and receive His Holy Spirit. I have a more clearer picture of what it is to live a Christ-like life. It is not a title, it’s not a denomination, but it is a lifestyle guided by the Holy Spirit at all times, and also a lifestyle of crucifying my flesh every single day.

I realize now that everything I do now, every second I spend on Earth impacts eternity. More importantly, it will impact the eternity of the people around me. As a believer, we have a big responsibility. It is time for us to step up to the plate and fulfill the call that God has for our lives. Just like the apostle Paul says, “for to live is in Christ but to die is in gain.”- Miguel D.

The greatest thing that has been highlighted in my mind is the vision for this ministry to see a Great Awakening throughout this land. As I walk throughout the day, my thoughts are consumed with the idea of seeing men, women, and children touched by the fire of God. I once heard Pastor Rodney say, “vision is not taught, it is caught”.  As I have been sitting in these services, I have been catching the vision for nations, for cities, for towns and families! When I was in the store one day, it dawned on me that I must win souls everywhere that I go. I do not necessarily have to feel a “strong pulling” to lead a specific person to Christ, but that I can just go on the strength of the Word.

Jesus said “go into all the world and Preach the Gospel”. As that dawned on me, I witnessed to this guy who was hoping that one day he would spend  eternity with the Lord and through my witness and using the Gospel soul winning script, I was able to make this a reality by using this wonderful too. This has been a Holy Ghost filled time, burdens are being lifted, peace has been restored, and my life is being changed. I have discovered that as long as I stay in the fire of the Holy Spirit I will continue to develop into the image of Christ and walk in His ways.-John H.

Before the Great Awakening Tour began, I knew something great was bound to happen; not only in my life, but in the lives of others. I have to admit however, , there was a slight limit on my being able to fully comprehend the magnitude that this was going to have on the nation, moreover the world! I had the opportunity to participate in receiving prayer calls this week and that is when it hit me- lives are being changed beyond our biggest imagination. I had the opportunity to pray with Pastors who were getting ready to give up on ministry, a lady who had bad memories of being molested, to those who wanted  the fire of God so that they could go out and win souls! One of the greatest stories that touched me was a man who was flipping the channel; I believe he was calling from South Carolina.

He was home drunk and he came across the program. He said he could not turn the channel and did not know why. “Oswaldo” said he wanted to come back to God, be free from alcohol addiction. In addition, he wanted to be a Pastor all of his life, but felt like God was not pleased with him. I prayed with him, broke the spirit of alcoholism off of his life; he got saved filled with the Holy Ghost and is going to start telling others about what is taking place  here in Tampa, Fl! Being in the call center has given me the opportunity to really catch the vision of what is taking place and realizing that my world is so small. That the lives that are being changed and set ablaze for God goes beyond not only these four walls, but it is beyond Tampa, Fl! This nation, this world is being changed! This indeed is a GREAT AWAKENING! –Needra H.
