Matters of the Heart | Xan Jevan Testimony

Sunday the 13th was a great and impacting day to the Tampa Bay community. First off i’d like to say it is an honor to be under Pastor Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne and what a blessing they have been over the years. Well my name is Xan-Jevan and I am a R.S.W (River School of Worship) student at the River at Tampa Bay. I run camera’s every Sunday morning, especially last Sunday I ran the “boom” camera. What a blessing it is to be able to capture those images for the people around the world to see and how packed it is in the church. Not only that but the altars as well, Pastor Rodney and Adonica have been blessing this community for almost 13 years now and to see how involved we are to see lives changed for the kingdom of God. There is absolutely no substitute to see some ones life impacted by God. I was helping after the service directing people to lines for the children to get their Christmas presents, and to me its like they are just toys but I remembered how important getting a present for Christmas or even a birthday can impact your life. On my thirteenth birthday, I remember that my family couldn’t afford to get me anything and how much that even impacted me when I was little. So giving these children a present for Christmas is truly life altering. I just want to say that what Pastors Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne are doing in Tampa Florida is impacting the nations one person at a time and that its not just them but also the congregation right by their side to help out every step of the way. We are a church that gets out there and wins souls! Actually, I’d like to share a testimony of how much we do impact the community. One day after school I was offered to help move stuff for this lady on one of the bus routes. And she had a lot of stuff to be moved I m just going to tell you now. But I did my best to move as much as possible. But I didn’t even see how happy she was that we came and helped out. And I saw her that Sunday and she was all in her dress clothes all nice and she gave me the biggest hug and thanked me so much. And it really felt great to put my time and effort into helping my community. So that’s all I have to say and I can’t wait for the television network to get on the road.

Matters of the Heart | Michaela A Testimony

Being a part of this ministry has been such a blessing to me. I come from a Church in Sweden that did not have too much outreach activities. So when I started bible school at The River and we had to do soul winning, it was something completely new for me. But after the first person I talked to said the salvation prayer with me, I got very exited. And now when I have gone soul winning for four months, it has changed me a lot. To see these people get changed and filled by the great love of God is irreplaceable. We go door to door and talk to a lot of people and you wonder if they really listen to what you have to say, but then you see them in Church on Sunday and how God is meets them and change them totally, and I would not exchange that for anything in the world.
On Sunday, when we had the big Christmas service, it occurred to me how thankful I am to be a part of this ministry, because here, the one great vision is to let everyone know about Jesus and win souls. And this Sunday when I saw how everyone is working the best they can to meet everyones needs, I just got so grateful to be a part of this, because it has given me a greater love for people. I have always been a loving person who likes to take care of people, but now this has been taken to another level. I have a deep desire in my heart to make sure that everyone gets to hear about Jesus & understand his great love! My heart breaks when I think about that there are people out there who live miserable lives and don’t know that Jesus died for them and can make their lives wonderful. So now I just want to keep reaching people with the gospel, and make sure I am doing the best I can to spread the love of Jesus – and this Church is really helping me to do that.

This past Sunday at the River I experienced and was honored to be a part of one of the most amazing events. River Kids service. I have had the honor of being a part of kids church for about the last 3 months and this particular Sunday was truly amazing. It was high energy, fast paced, and full of fun as well as the word of God. Kids were running all over the stage playing carious games that related to various principals founded in the bible. They were smacking themselves in the face with whip cream and eggs. They all wanted to be a part and participate in what was going on. Their excitement level was contagious. After all the fun and excitement Joe Manno began to talk to the kids about Jesus dying on the cross for their sins. Anyone who thinks that just because they are kids that they don’t understand really has no idea of what they are talking about. I know for me personally it was one of the most touching experiences I have seen. The visual demonstration was straight to the point and hit to the core of the heart. I saw children crying and shaking under the power of God realizing what Jesus did for them so they could spend all eternity with Him. When the altar call was given we saw in excess of 150 children ask Jesus to be the Lord of their lives. These kids were so excited about what was happening. I truly believe that there was an eternal difference that has been made in these kids. The kind of impact that they will one day have on this world is something that I truly believe is going to be remarkable. I am so glad I was able to be a part of this day.

This Present Glory | Sarah Hargrave Testimony

April 2nd, 2010

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

What an amazing week of growing and pressing into God’s presence I had during the Winter Camp Meeting. I praise God for a new job that He supernaturally provided for me, which allowed me to attend only four services. This first night I was able to attend, was with Pastor Ted Shuttlesworth. I so wanted to be here every night and so I came in expecting God’s presence and He was there! An amazing, sweet presence came and touched me taking away the sadness I felt from having to miss almost the whole week of meetings. I saw God’s amazing love as He healed people from their deafness and total healing to their sick bodies. I also saw the enemy at work trying to draw attention away from what God was trying to do in the service. I left the service free as I knew God has everything in control and left filled and overflowing. On Saturday and Sunday, they were amazing days of serving. What an honor to serve for the Lord. I love being an usher, serving others, and showing God’s love to all. Not that I am perfect, it brought many areas to where offenses could have been made. Individuals wanting special seating, too hot, can’t hear, Ha, and so on. But, I gave the best in me and did it all for God. Sunday evening came and we danced and sang with rejoicing souls for the love of our Savior. This is why my week was so amazing! I was able to get into God’s presence, be filled up, watch God’s miracles take place, serve, and love. What week can compare? I am so grateful for this year. I praise my Father for this new life I have in Him. The things and areas in my life are being changed and set free. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and continually being changed, molded, and I desire His presence. Thank you Lord for the people you have ministering into my life.

Winter Camp Meeting | George McCann Testimony

March 25th, 2010

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

This years Winter Camp Meeting for me was an opportunity to be stretched in directions I could not have imagined before hand. I was assigned to security at the Children’s Church for the two days I was able to attend, due to my work schedule.

Although, my time at the Children’s Church, let me see how the kids were touched by the hand of God through the preaching of 3rd year student, Troy.

I had attended winter camp meetings over the past years, as a church member rather than a student of RBI and was particularly looking forward to this years meeting. Through the Helps Ministry, I was asked to volunteer to assist the security team. The Lord saw fit to have me serve in another capacity. As much as I would have liked to have heard the sermons of all the pastors, I would not have traded the time I got to spend with the children and the respect and admiration I gained for all the people who work with the children on a regular basis.

I understand , what I saw and was able to be a part of is something that goes on every Sunday, and not out of the ordinary or exceptional for the duration of the camp meetings that were going on. This only adds to my respect, because kids can be difficult at times and emotionally demanding. But the teachings, which included games, stories, preaching, and the importance of tithing all went on without interruption.

I came to understand that the success of this came from the personal style of the individual in charge and that no matter who was in charge, their approaches may have been different, but a similar format was being followed.

On one occasion, the kids were allowed to go outside and I had an opportunity to speak to the teacher. I had had only formal conversation with him in the past, but this time I was able to speak with him on a more personal level. I found out that we are both from the same part of New Jersey, and in fact, he at one time, was very close friends with my niece and nephew! He had spent quite a bit of time at my brother’s house visiting and hanging out. God is good and He works in funny ways at times. My short time speaking to this young man brought me much closer to someone else in this ministry and we now have a common goal: to get my brother and his entire family saved! Praise God!

Great Awakening Tour City #3 Fort Walton Beach, Florida | Tim W Testimony

March 12th, 2010

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

Fishers of Men while Swimming in the Ocean From Tim, Fort Walton Beach, FL Who says that evangelism can’t be fun! On my lunch break I went to the beach to snorkel and swim a little. As I was about a quarter of a mile out and in 30 to 40 foot deep water and a woman started swimming out towards me all alone. I wasn’t too sure what to do but the Lord spoke to me to share Jesus with her. As I approached her I told her that the water was very deep and to be careful. She said that what she was really worried about was the sharks. I told her that there are sharks out here but the chances of being bit are pretty slim. But then I told her that I had a quick but important question to ask her, if you were to die at this very second are you sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that you would go to heaven. She quickly said no but was quite eager to find out how to be saved. I shared with her the Gospel Soul Winning Script and she prayed the prayer of salvation. She told me that she knew that God sent me to swim over to her and to lead her to Jesus. She explained that she recently had gone through a divorce and had a desire to start her life all over again but was not sure how to do this. As we were swimming back I prayed for her again and encouraged her to find fellowship in a bible believing church when she returned to back to Alabama. Praise God you never know where you might be when you experience an encounter, not a shark encounter but a soul-winning encounter! God has a great sense of humor and He is so cool!

Being Told That All Heaven Will Break Loose Wherever I Go | Julie S Testimony

March 5th, 2010

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

I layed hands on the sick, today, and that person recovered! Here’s the story: I was at the beauty salon getting my hair done. And I thought to myself, ‘Am I going to do anything good for God, today?’ Just then, there came this strange noise from the back room like someone was getting violently ill. After about 10 minutes or so, this lady came walking out and you could tell she was having a very hard time and she was wiping her face under her eyes. By this time I had been sitting under the hair dryer with highlights so, when I was done, I just walked up to her and quietly asked if she wanted me to pray for her. Of course she wanted me to. So I layed hands on her and commanded the nausea and every sickness and disease to leave her body in the name of Jesus. She was very grateful and said she believes strongly. So I had my hair rinsed out and, while I was waiting with treatment in my hair, she came over to me all smiling and everything and felt like dancing! It was a far cry from what she had felt like just minutes earlier. I told her that Jesus heals.

Lady was in a wheelchair in the hall way of the nursing home with a nurse. I stopped to read the gospel script to her. And she looked at me and yelled “I can’t hear”. And the nurse said “she can’t hear you” I bent over in her ear and I yelled, “Jesus” in her ear -one time and she said “Jesus”. The nurse looked in shock. I backed off from her and said “Can you hear me now?” She said,”yes”. I read the script, she repeated the prayer at the me and received Christ in her life. Later I saw her in the cafeteria and walked by her and said”hi Eva” She said”hi”. Her hearing was restored. Today I went to the Ft. Pierce. Jetty for an 2 hours we walked around talking with some said no. These 2 older woman I talked to they said the sinners prayer. They looked real happy afterwards. I was pretty excited and nervous also but it was really cool.

Great Awakening Tour City # 24 Cocoa, Florida | Pastor Laura P Testimony

I witness to people at the superwalmart in Titusville. I got at least 7 people to make a commitment to Christ. The one that touch me the most was Mr. George. He told me he didn’t know how to read and that he was uneducated. He said people talk about him most of his life because of his condition but he still accepted God into his heart. He also talk about how he didn’t like people that has a lot of money and mistreat other that has less money. He said he had been to churches in the past and he have seen church members go to church and then heard about them been in the club and he didn’t like that. He said he doesn’t like people playing with God. Last 2 days I had a lot of warefare getting over to Cocoa Expo, headache, chest pain, felt like my mouth (tongue) had sores on the bottom and the Lord helped me to push through what I felt like to witness and 2 ladies at the nursing home today were a delight to witness to with our script we used. All the souls saved were worth any discomfort I had. Praise the Lord!

Great Awakening Tour City #25 Gainesville, FL | Danielle R Testimony

February 12th, 2010

The power is in the script! I witnessed the soulwinner Spirit came upon one woman I prayed with. She couldn’t get her eyes off of the script card. After a tearful salvation, she asked if she could have the script card I used, even though she had already, the small version (in the dvd). As she did that her friend whom had been in the store, entered her vehicle on the passenger side. I told her she could have my script card if she would use it to save her friend. Bam! Instant soulwinner! She did it. The power is in the script. He is the Holy Spirit! And He is in those pre-ordained words. I was in a nursing home and walked into a room by myself with 1 woman in it, and she basically told me she needed to use the restroom, so I went and told someone that worked there about it (now there was two more people in that room)and I told I guess all 3 of them what they had to do so that woman could use the restroom(I yielded to fear and left after talking to them a bit) and later my team leader led both of them to the Lord in a different room while I was with him, then later I came back to that room alone and both people were there again, so I started talking with them, and the man told me the woman can’t respond like them, but I started to talk to her and she talked and got saved and they seemed to have no problem at all me praying with her and when I looked up the man had his head bowed, like he might have been praying it again. (And I didn’t stay in enough time for them to talk to me about her talking)
