The River at Tampa Bay Church – Rodney Howard Browne

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

I am so exited what God is doing here….at the River at Tampa Bay Church! Right now the Gospel is not just preached only on the streets, but the salvation message is carry on through the television to millions  homes all around the world. Thank you Lord! I feel that something important is happening here …the rain from heaven is coming down every night! I see people coming and experienced the reality of God’s presence. Is seems like many of them even don’t know what is the sweet presence of God, what is the anointing,  but they are hungry of the real things of God.  They are thirsty of real God touching his people. And I see this…I see that reality of an incredible God’s anointing fooling down on those who coming worshipping God in the truth and the spirit. This anointing is breaking the yoke of bondage, so people got healed, delivered, saved! I am so thankful to God that he brought me here and I can be a part of GAT. I can say also about some highlighting things the Lord is doing in my heart. He wants me to cry out for my country, for my nation to be saved, for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be spread. To be honest, I just came from Poland with a kind of discouragement  what is going on in churches  there  and how religion rules strongly in whole country. Now  I will pray, I will cry out  for Poland believing for the great things God will do it now through the GAT  for my nation and in all of the world. -Jolanta P.

The kingdom of God, is amazing – Rodney Howard Browne

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

This has been truly an amazing week! It’s like the fire that was in me has been re-ignited and is set in flames that will never go out! Just from being a part of such a great ministry and being honored to help see the vision come to pass – to bring souls into the kingdom of God, is amazing!!! The testimonies coming in from the students, members, staff, visitors have been incredible. Persons are coming in from out of town after watching on CTN and are joining us for Soulwinning and the services. I went out with 2 ladies from another church yesterday who were watching us from Dundi, FL and they each won souls to the Lord for the first time ever, and said they would be coming back with more people. Pastors are calling in non-stop to get Soulwinning scripts and packets ordered for their churches and are requesting preachers and teachers to come and visit and train their churches. America is finally getting a hold of this thing and is ready to make Soulwinning their passion! Believers are finally ignited to go and gather the harvest of souls and fulfill the Great Commission! When people call in on the phones, they are asking for the fire of God. They are asking for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They are asking for healing, financial provision, salvation for loved ones, relationships to be restored, and deliverance from addictions and fear……the list goes on. And the wonderful thing is that they are receiving these things! Persons are getting saved, healed, delivered, set free and filled with the Holy Ghost and receiving the fire of God over the phone. The anointing and the presence of God crosses the phone line and touches persons in their homes. They are crying, laughing, screaming, and shouting over the joy and peace of receiving the touch of God. Thank you for this opportunity, and I am excited about how fast this thing is moving. Eyes have truly not seen, nor ears have heard the great things God has in store for this Great Awakening around the world!!!- Karen C.

Rodney Howard Browne – Joshua H. Testimony

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

Awesome! Going in the street of London today believing God for a great harvest! Location: Ontario, Canada I just want to encourage people with something. I am an officer in the Army. When we operate, we always use guides that work a lot like the Gospel Script. It is not a crutch, it is not weakness. We use ‘cheat sheets’ because they work. When I use them at work, it makes getting things right easy. Winning souls is more life and death than war. Just wanted to encourage people that the Gospel is not being watered down. Thanks and bless you guys for being obedient. Use what works.

I haven’t missed a night wish I could be there but can’t get off work. I even have some of it recorded. It has been awesome I downloaded and printed out the soul winning packet. I need u to pray that the people around here will get up to get busy to win souls. This is an area where the churches don’t believe in getting out. And that’s what i love to do I had rather win a soul to Christ than eat or breathe it’s the heart beat of God and he lives in me so it’s my heart beat to I desperately want to see revival in this area.

So please pray for a fire to ignite here. Thank you and God bless, From Bread of Hope Outreach Ministries Chaplain John Butler Chaplain (General) John Butler

When I first got saved about six months went by and I was winning souls and on fire for God witnessing everyday and I got sat down on the front pew of the church and asked this question. “What world are you from? you are not like us? I said, who do you want me to be? They said, John. I said, he died on the kitchen floor when he gave his heart to Jesus.

Finding My Individual Purpose For My Life—Part Two by Rodney Howard Browne

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

Sunday, February 17, 2008 February: My Mission

Foundation Scriptures: Hebrews 12:1-2 and John 15:1-16

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. 9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.  John 15:1-16 NKJV

1. Desire—how to find out what God has called you to do.

Psalms 37:4 NKJV—Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Mark 11:22-24 NKJV—So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
The power of desire is born out of faith—out of your heart when you:

Abide in Him and His words abide in you. (John  15:7)

1 Peter 4:11 NKJV—If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Speak God’s desire out of your mouth—God’s mouthpiece.

John 15:8 AMP—When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

Glorify God by bearing much fruit.

Remember that the tongue is the rudder of your ship.

James 3:4 AMP—Likewise, look at the ships: though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the impulse of the helmsman determines.

Have a pure heart. Pure desires spring from a pure heart.

d. John 15:7 NKJV—If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

4. What is your desire?

Your desire is that feeling within that is intense; deep; a yearning; your soul crying out; it stirs you; it’s a fire; a passion; coming out of a pure heart.
Pure heart for God—pure desire from God.
Stir up the gift of God—the gracious inner fire.
2 Timothy 1:5-7 NKJV …when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

5. How to find your passion.

Habakkuk 2:2-3—write it down; write the vision; it is for an appointed time.
Out of it, will come the plan of God.
Speak it out—set your course through faith and patience.
Stay focused and don’t allow any distractions from your assigned and chosen course.

The Church — Ministry In The Home by Rodney Howard Browne

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

The mission of the local church is: Preaching and teaching; Making disciples; Fellowship; Worship; Missions and evangelism; Maturity of the believer; Ministry in the home; Ministry to material needs.

Ministry in the home:

The mission of the Church – generally and locally – extends into the home and the family. God instituted marriage and family when He created Adam and Eve and told them to have children. This is His plan for man. When He spoke the blessing over Abraham, He said that all the families of the earth would be blessed through Jesus, the Seed of Abraham. The devil has tried to destroy people, marriages and families. Only God has the answer for a successful marriage and family and the Church has a big part to play in ministering the truth in this area, so that people may live free and blessed lives.

Jesus loved and was concerned for the well-being of children:

Mark 10:13-16 NKJV – Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

In his epistles, Paul gave special instructions to Christians concerning marriage and family:

Ephesians 5:33 NKJV – Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Ephesians 6:1-4 NKJV – Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” 4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
Colossians 3:18-21 AMP – Wives, be subject to your husbands [subordinate and adapt yourselves to them], as is right and fitting and your proper duty in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives [be affectionate and sympathetic with them] and do not be harsh or bitter or resentful toward them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not provoke or irritate or fret your children [do not be hard on them or harass them], lest they become discouraged and sullen and morose and feel inferior and frustrated. [Do not break their spirit.]

The promise of the Holy Spirit was to believers and their children:

Acts 2:39 AMP – For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself.
Joel 2:28 AMP – And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

In the Book of Acts whole families and even whole households received salvation and were baptized in water and the Holy Spirit at the same time:

In Acts 16:15, Lydia and all her household were baptized.
In Acts 16:34, the keeper of the prison received salvation together with his whole household.
In Acts 18:8, Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord, with his entire household; and so did many of the Corinthians, who heard, believed, and were baptized.

Church leaders were required to have well regulated families:

1 Timothy 3:4-5 NKJV – One who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?).
1 Timothy 3:12 AMP – Let deacons be the husbands of but one wife, and let them manage [their] children and their own households well.
Titus 1:6 AMP – [These elders should be] men who are of unquestionable integrity and are irreproachable, the husband of [but] one wife, whose children are [well trained and are] believers, not open to the accusation of being loose in morals and conduct or unruly and disorderly.

The Early Church met mostly in homes, where the Gospel would have influenced the whole family:

Colossians 4:15 AMP – Give my greetings to the brethren at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the assembly (the church) which meets in her house.
Romans 16:5 AMP – [Remember me] also to the church [that meets] in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who was a firstfruit (first convert) to Christ in Asia.
1 Corinthians 16:19 AMP – The churches of Asia send greetings and best wishes. Aquila and Prisca, together with the church [that meets] in their house, send you their hearty greetings in the Lord.
Acts 21:4-5 AMP – And having looked up the disciples there, we remained with them for seven days. Prompted by the [Holy] Spirit, they kept telling Paul not to set foot in Jerusalem. 5 But when our time there was ended, we left and proceeded on our journey; and all of them with their wives and children accompanied us on our way till we were outside the city. There we knelt down on the beach and prayed.
Acts 21:8-9 AMP – On the morrow we left there and came to Caesarea; and we went into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the Seven [first deacons], and stayed with him. 9 And he had four maiden daughters who had the gift of prophecy.

OUR GIVING OF THANKS

Just as we Americans have a Day of Thanksgiving in which we, and our families, pause to think about our blessings and give thanks to God for bringing us to this land and making us a nation, so Israel also had a Day of Thanksgiving. In Deuteronomy 26:1-19*, God gave them instructions, through Moses, on what they were to do and how they were to go about giving thanks to God.

1. God promised them their own land and they were to bring the first fruits of that land, as an offering, to where the presence of the Lord was:

Verses 1-2: When you have come into the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance and possess it and live in it, 2 You shall take some of the first of all the produce of the soil which you harvest from the land the Lord your God gives you and put it in a basket, and go to the place [the sanctuary] which the Lord your God has chosen as the abiding place for His Name [and His Presence].

2. They were to bring these first fruits and present it to the priest and make a confession to him of all that the Lord had done for them, their fathers, and their nation:

Verses 3-9: And you shall go to the priest who is in office in those days, and say to him, I give thanks this day to the Lord your God that I have come to the land which the Lord swore to our fathers to give us. 4 And the priest shall take the basket from your hand and set it down before the altar of the Lord your God. 5 And you shall say before the Lord your God, A wandering and lost Aramean ready to perish was my father [Jacob], and he went down into Egypt and sojourned there, few in number, and he became there a nation, great, mighty, and numerous. 6 And the Egyptians treated us very badly and afflicted us and laid upon us hard bondage. 7 And when we cried to the Lord, the God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and our labor and our [cruel] oppression; 8 And the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, and with great (awesome) power and with signs and with wonders; 9 And He brought us into this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

3. They were to worship the Lord with their offering and rejoice in all the good which God had given them:

Verses 10-11: And now, behold, I bring the firstfruits of the ground which You, O Lord, have given me. And you shall set it down before the Lord your God and worship before the Lord your God; 11 And you and the Levite and the stranger and the sojourner among you shall rejoice in all the good which the Lord your God has given you and your household.

They brought the first fruits of all their crops and animals to God as evidence of their gratitude to Him. These offerings were used for Israel’s great feasts so that everyone could share and partake of the Lord’s goodness together.

4. The seventh year was a special Sabbath year and every third year of the six years between these years was a special year of tithing that went to help the poor, the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. The Israelites brought it before the Lord and made a confession of the integrity of this tithe:

Verses 12-14: When you have finished paying all the tithe of your produce the third year, which is the year of tithing, and have given it to the Levite, the stranger and the sojourner, the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within your towns and be filled, 13 Then you shall say before the Lord your God, I have brought the hallowed things (the tithe) out of my house and moreover have given them to the Levite, to the stranger and the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me; I have not transgressed any of Your commandments, neither have I forgotten them. 14 I have not eaten of the tithe in my mourning [making the tithe unclean], nor have I handled any of it when I was unclean, nor given any of it to the dead. I have hearkened to the voice of the Lord my God; I have done according to all that You have commanded me.

5. Then they asked for God’s continued blessing – they asked Him to look down from Heaven and bless them and the land He had given them:

Verse 15: Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us as You swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.

6. The Israelites made a public declaration that they would continue to serve and obey the Lord their God:

Verses 16-17: This day the Lord your God has commanded you to do these statutes and ordinances. Therefore you shall keep and do them with all your [mind and] heart and with all your being. 17 You have [openly] declared the Lord this day to be your God, [pledging] to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes and His commandments and His precepts, and to hearken to His voice.

7. The Lord openly declared again to them His promise to always bless and keep them:

Verses 18-19: And the Lord has declared this day that you are His peculiar people as He promised you, and you are to keep all His commandments; 19 And He will make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in fame and in honor, and that you shall be a holy people to the Lord your God, as He has spoken.

In the same way, we should remember God’s goodness toward us by bringing our tithes and offerings. We should not bring it mindlessly, but we should remind ourselves of how good He has been to us, reiterate our commitment to Him, and remind ourselves of His promise to always bless and preserve us as well, so that He may continue to bless us and keep His promises to us.

Ministers Conference 2010 – David L. Testimony

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

For me, every conference at the River has always been about being saturated in the presence of God. This year’s Minister’s Conference was no exception. From the first service the presence of God was so strong in the place, it made me so hungry for more of His’ presence. I think that was the biggest change in me, was a greater hunger and thirst for the things of God.

As the meetings went on, I just grew hungrier and hungrier, not for seeing the outward manifestations, but just for being in His presence, for being in the Word, talking to God, singing out to Him, at church, in school, in my personal times, and at work too. Some of the nights I had to miss the beginning of the services but I would be at work, sweeping the back room just weeping in the presence of God, just crying out to Him; then as work would end I’d rush to get to church and into the service.

These meetings showed me so much this year. How God lives outside of time, so to Him the meetings never end, because the presence of God is always here. I love being in these meetings. The thing that really sums up these meetings to me is something that I’ve heard Pastor Rodney say before, that getting a touch from God is not about the manifestation, but in returning people to their first love, and causing people to gain a greater hunger for God. That’s really what I felt from this camp meeting, because I’m hungrier than ever!

Rodney Howard Browne – Melissa A. Testimony

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

Ministers conference was amazing.

I was hardly in any meetings. But God still did so much in my life that whole week. I volunteered to be a server in hospitality Mon,Wed and Fri. Tues,Thurs and Sat night I worked from 2- 8:00 and picked up Ps.Todd & Katies kids straight from getting off work, I’d go to the church and would drive the kids home, and tuck all three boys in bed,  and watched them until the parents came home. So in essence I started my week working hospitality Monday from 10:00-4:30, then I’d have to pull myself away and go do my housekeeping job in Thonotosassa from 5-10:30/11:00.(my boss gave me flexability on my hospitality days to come into work late)

Tuesday I went to part of the morning service and left at 1:30 to work by 2:00 my normal work hours are 2-8) and I’d wrk my normal wrk hours, and pick up the Holmes kids right after I’d get off work, and study til late at their house watching the kids, after tucking them in till the parents arrived.  That was my whole week. I made half of Tues, Thurs, and Sat. But Sunday was my break day and it was definitely the most special.

Phil Smithers laid hands on us all, and it really stirred me up. I told God I was so hungry, and wanted to get drunk and totally lost in the spirit Sun night because it was my time to relax. (Since Sun am I babysat Blake Holmes all service :)

God met me. I was pressing in like never before. God came down and spoke so many things to my heart that night. He let me know that even though I didn’t know my calling in the ministry exactly was, that He was still preparing me for it in every area. Through hospitality He was teaching me how to better my spirit of excellence. And how to be even more of a diligent servant. He was teaching me how to relate and work with people and kids, of all ages and types.  He said He is teaching me how to live my life as if I am really living in a glass house. Living pure in Him and doing my best to be the leader in Christ that I meant to be.

He said He’s enlarging my heart for the nations of souls out there.

I lost all reverent dignity of my outer expressions of emotions when Phil said to ask and the Lord, and He will give you the nations. I felt so unworthy. And when I spoke that to the Lord…He said He wanted to use my hands and feet…and that if would trust Him he would use me. He brought back to my memory when I was a small child that I’d dance people would get healed. The Lord told me He was still going to bring that to pass in my life. I was in shambles. Tears and messed up hair everywhere. Laughing and crying and overjoyed to be soaking in the Lord’s presence. I’d let so many things in my life I knew God might use me for go dormant, because I didn’t (and still don’t) know how they were going to come to pass. But God let me know His timing is perfect. And He has an appointed time for all these things in my life later on.  I was blessed beyond words and my joy was filled to the fullest. The week of Ministers Conference strengthened me in every way. I got to see how loving teamwork and organization of the body of Christ shows forth the precious spirit of God to the ministers that came seeking encouragement. And I got to love on the sweetest kids while providing childcare. God teaches us so much through children. If we will be like the least of these, we will inherit the kingdom of God.   When I learn to take the limits off of God and myself..God as the author and finisher of all things will truly become the God of the impossible for me.

God really blessed me with His joy and peace at the closeout service, and I was so drunk in the spirit my makeup was everywhere and my hair a crazy disaster. But through the makeup streaks and puffy cheeks….God birthed His strength anew; He put a peace inside to trust Him deeper than I ever have before.  He left me with the precious understanding that my life isn’t about my calling…..but about His heart. For it’s in His heart that my calling lies…and when I search in His word, and in His presence for what His desires really are, no matter where I am, or what I’m doing, that is when my heart beat will truly become one with His. And that is when my ministry will truly be what it is meant to be.  Being found, by being lost in Him.

Rodney Howard Browne – Ben R. Testimony

I only had an hour and 45 minutes to get my goal of 11 souls. I spoke to 10 people and got 10 prayers successfully. I felt it was time to go, not to mention I gave away all 10 DVDs. When I got to my car, I had 10 minutes left, so I decided to approach one last lady that sat by herself. She didn’t look really good, didn’t smell too good, but I think, “She is a child of the highest God.”  We went through everything and she said she felt light.  I told her that her burden of sin had been lifted.  She thanked me for the gift of life through Jesus. So I got my 11.

I was at a nursing home.  I went into this guy’s room and read the script.  I asked him the two questions and he didn’t answer. So I kept reading.  When I got to the part where I pray over him, he said, “No.  Leave me alone,” so I left.  I finished my hallway.  As I was walking back by he was in his wheelchair waiting for me.  He said, “Hey, come tell me what you were saying before,” and he got saved.

God is good.  I used the script and was able to lead 40 people through the prayer in the nursing home.  Some resisted but most were accepting Christ for the first time.  The real blessing is when whole families would come to Christ.  I was even able to have people that didn’t know English to the Lord. Thank you God for all of your help.

Rodney Howard Browne – Samuel D. Testimony

Worship Soundtracks from RMIRiverSong on Vimeo.

If I were to put down on paper all that Revival Ministries International has done for me, taught me, brought me to; I can confidently say I would be writing not just pages but a book. I came to Florida to this ministry 3 years ago as a different person, I am not, nor will ever be the same again. But now, in this current time of my life, I would say what this ministry is showing me is the integrity and character it takes to attempt ministry and make it in ministry.

Many want more anointing, but Pastor’s Rodney and Adonica show me constantly the kind of life you must lead in order to stay on the right path. As they quote many times ‘Your anointing will take you places only your character can keep you.’ People can have an anointing and walk in power but not have any character and eventually they blow up. Pastor Joel Stockstill was recently here and said something that stuck with me, ‘The anointing is not the authentification of your ministry, integrity is.’ Those are very direct and challenging words, but being a young man wanting to embark in ministry I want the truth. I want to know what it is really about, and how you can walk it out.

I am learning to have the hide of a rhino and a heart of flesh; meaning to not be hurt easily or let offence in, but to still be tender hearted towards God and people. Pastor’s Rodney and Adonica walk what they preach. They have a set a standard of no compromise, as it should be for all who follow God, but sadly it is not always the case. The Pastor’s lead by example, and by doing so have instilled many important characteristics into my life and continue to do so week in and week out. Putting all of this to a conclusion of some kind, I would simply say Keep Moving Forward.
